When someone we love dies, we enter a space where time moves differently.
Everything slows.
Everything sharpens towards the only things that matter.
Everything asks to be met with tenderness.
My funerals offer a way to do this with clarity, care and spiritual grounding if that is in alignment with your wishes. If not, a more traditional humanist approach can be used.
No dogma. No pressure. Simply a space where a life can be honoured and deeply appreciated.
Each ceremony is unique, to celebrate the life of the person who has died, to comfort those who remain and to remind us of the quiet sacred thread of meaning that runs through the wheel of life.
Ceremonies reflect the essence of the person who has passed, created with family stories, memories and the depth of who they were.

How We Work Together
Step 1 – A conversation
We speak by phone or in-person so I can understand what you need and how best to support you.
Step 3 – Crafting the ceremony
You receive a ceremony written with care, clarity, and attention to the spirit of the person and their values.
Step 2 – Listening deeply
I gather stories, memories, and the details that help shape a ceremony with integrity.
Step 4 – Holding the day itself
I lead the ceremony with calm presence, guiding everyone with steadiness and warmth.
My Approach
My background in anthropology, Taoist and Buddhist practice, and ceremonial work shapes everything I offer.
I hold each ceremony with:
-
Compassion
-
Integrity
-
Spaciousness
-
A commitment to honouring diverse spiritual, cultural and personal paths
Whether the ceremony is minimalist, nature-based, traditional, or creative, it will reflect the truth of your loved one’s life.
